Accelerationism is an approach that can be used to address the limitations of capitalism. Unlike other approaches, which seek to overthrow capitalism or radically alter its character, accelerationism seeks to address the limits of capitalism by pushing through them - by speeding up or accelerating features of capitalism, such as the application of technology. This paper examines a number of the core concepts from which this approach is built, examining the limitations of accelerationism and potential insights for management academics.
