What is it about?

By analysis of three cases (compound interest, option pricing, conjoint analysis) it is found that logical problem solution, easily understood procedures (or software) and means to apply the software (hardware) are important adoption criteria. These may be supplemmented by extension of the technique beyond the application for which it is developed.
