This paper describes the creation of a scale intended to measure teachers' perception of the value of forming learning communities, engaging in professional development, and educating children for social justice.

Teachers are often assessed based upon their actions. This paper offers a way to assess the beliefs and values that guide teachers' behaviors.
Perspectives
My hope is that this article encourages people to think beyond teaching practices and view teachers as individual humans with distinct feelings and ideas about their profession.
