To work with Aboriginal people, it is expected that non-Aboriginal healthcare professionals become 'culturally aware'. We compared undergraduate students’ perceptions of online and onsite delivery formats of cultural awareness training (CAT) and found whilst feedback was positive regarding both formats, the onsite format of CAT delivery was preferred qualitatively. Given the changed dynamic in education forced by the COVID-19 pandemic, more resources may be directed to improving online cultural awareness training and combining formats in delivery.
