What is it about?
In this research, we presented a new bi-objective mathematical model to minimize the incompatibility rate of the allocated room to students and the costs of the dormitory rooms while considering the limitation of the university. Two multi-attribute decision-making methods, namely Bayesian best-worst method (BBWM) and weighted aggregated sum product assessment (WASPAS) were proposed to determine the utility index and inconsistency score between students. To solve large-sized problems and a real-case study, a grasshopper optimization algorithm (GOA) was proposed.
