What is it about?
The present paper describes some challenges of conducting psychological testing in prisons in India and provides recommendations for future research scholars and practicing clinicians. Revisiting the purpose and scope of cognitive assessment in correctional settings, authors in the present paper highlight alternative methods of intellectual assessment among prison inmates. This study has implications for the health and wellbeing of inmates in general, a vulnerable population, and can help improve the quality of education, training and clinical practice in India.
