Local government use social care providers to deliver social care to their residents. Integrating social care provides better care. However, this is difficult to do. This research improves how local government, social care providers and clients can integrate and deliver social care.

Why is it important?
Many people rely on social care services, and making sure these services work well together can significantly improve their lives. This research explores a new method called "subsidy tables" that can help local governments, social care providers, and clients work more effectively as a team. This can lead to: * Better care for those who need it: By improving how social care is delivered, people can get the care that best fits their individual needs. * A smoother process for everyone: The "subsidy tables" method can make it easier for all involved to collaborate and deliver high-quality care. * Learning from a real-world example: This research examines a method already being used in the Netherlands, so the findings can be applied in other places.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a big adventure. Ultimately, our goal is to design an interactive intelligence application that can help municipalities and social care providers in the commissioning process to integrated care. I was happy to have the great help from Catholijn Jonker and Hans de Bruijn.
