Enablers of explorative and exploitative intellectual capital in entrepreneurial ecosystems

What is it about?

This study investigates the intellectual capital (IC) dynamics in entrepreneurial ecosystems (EEs) by conceptualizing EEs as systems whose purposes include creating the conditions for the (re)generation of explorative and exploitative intangible resources (IC) needed for effective entrepreneurship. The resulting taxonomy and model can benefit both scholars and practitioners interested in further investigating the crucial role of intangible resources in EEs, and guide entrepreneurs and policymakers in their decision-making processes.
