Prioritising challenges, solutions, and strategies for implementing halal supply chain in the Indonesian cosmetic industries through the ANP

What is it about?

This study examined the challenges of establishing a Halal Supply Chain (HSC) for the cosmetics industry, aiming to provide solutions and strategies. The biggest issue identified was the lack of a system to track halal ingredients and products (traceability) reliably. The most practical solution is to use separate, clearly marked containers for halal cosmetics. Ultimately, the most effective long-term strategy is for companies to collaborate with blockchain experts to introduce technology that guarantees transparent and reliable traceability throughout the entire supply chain.
