What is it about?

Online reviews are valuable for understanding tourists' experiences, but analyzing them is challenging. This study uses artificial intelligence (AI) to better mine reviews of China's Five Sacred Mountains. It combines multiple AI models like ChatGPT, BERT, and CNN to classify review sentiments with high accuracy. ChatGPT performed the best. The study also used topic modeling to identify key features in the reviews. Business analysis models like IPA, AIPA, and IPCA were then applied to translate the AI results into practical recommendations. The models uncovered issues tourists faced, like long ticket queues. Resources should be allocated to improve these basic services first to prevent satisfaction drops. The models also monitored sustainability factors. For example, they found Mount Tai, despite being highly rated, had below-standard cleanliness. Overall, this multi-AI model framework enables tourism managers to efficiently analyze reviews and monitor sustainability. It makes advanced analytics more accessible. The study demonstrates an innovative way to leverage AI for data-driven sustainable tourism management.
