What is it about?

This study looks at why tourists choose to behave in environmentally friendly ways when visiting eco-destinations. We found that feeling emotionally connected to others, seeing themselves as environmentally responsible, and recognizing strong green practices at the destination all encourage sustainable behavior. These insights can help tourism managers design strategies that inspire visitors to care for the environment.
