Why is it important?
This is a unique '3 D visualisation' approach to quantifying a professional's subjective knowledge and experience when doing risk assessment work.
Perspectives
This is the first time a quantitative risk screening tool like SAVE (Structured Assessment of Violent Extremism) has been developed for operational use by police and national security agencies around the world. I believe the potential of this quantified approach to risk assessment is both timely and necessary in the battle to deal more efficiently and effectively with terrorism and extremism.
