What is it about?
Leveraging knowledge-based view and triple bottom line perspective, the present study examines the effect of entrepreneurial skills and innovativeness on sustainable business performance and to investigate the mediating effect of innovativeness between entrepreneurial skills and sustainable business performance in the context of Indian manufacturing micro, small and medium enterprises. Data were collected from 317 manufacturing enterprises registered in Uttar Pradesh. Data were analysed using partial least squares-structural equation modelling technique to verify the hypotheses. Findings confirmed that innovativeness partially mediated between entrepreneurial skills and sustainable business performance. The study provides critical implications for theory, practice and policymaking.
