What is it about?

Laterite is an abundant indigenous building material in sub-Saharan Africa and other hot and tropical regions. We explore the optimum level at which laterite can be stabilised with OPC to provide a more environmentally-friendly and efficient means of producing walling units in lieu of depleting sea/river sand.
