BIM-based integrated solution for analysis and management of mismatches during construction

What is it about?

In this research, it is tried to make connections required between the phases of the research and previous studies, using a proper scientific method to analyze the problem. None of the previous studies have simultaneously investigated finding the mismatches and their roots, giving solutions, evaluating the impact of solutions and performing automatic earned value tracking in an integrated and synchronized way. This research aims to develop a holistic framework with the use of BIM approach to assist design and construction team members during construction so that the stakeholders could deal with mismatches efficiently and effectively. As a result, the likelihood of sustainable construction is enhanced, both to meet society's environmental goals with reducing material consumption through removing reworks and account for the economic impacts of the project by saving time and money
