The paper investigates the different generations by birth year and how they are likely to engage in entrepreneurial activities from the perspective of Ghana.

Why is it important?

We provided a perspective from the cultural and socio-economic background of an emerging economy. We also demonstrated that irrespective of gender, one may become an entrepreneur and highly educated individuals tend be entrepreneurs.

Perspectives

Education plays a key role in entrepreneurial intention so entrepreneurship education must be prioritized to ensure that citizens develop the mindset to become entrepreneurs. The enabling environment must also be provided to support the youth.
