What is it about?
Time is a scarce resource and how school principals spend their time matters. This study examines high principal time use patterns across different school types. It finds that traditional public high school principals had longer workweeks than their peers in charter and private schools. However, the extended workweek did not necessarily result in more time dedicated to instructional leadership.
