What is it about?

Transformational leadership is a contemporary approach to leadership which emphasizes the role of the leader in developing and motivating followers. We study its impact on educational outcomes as perceived by teachers. The findings point to links between transformational leadership, perceived school effectiveness and job satisfaction.

Perspectives

The findings show that the context matters in educational leadership. This study was conducted in a small country with a centralized educational system. This is reflected in the findings.
