A UK community research study looking at deliberate firesetting among 18-23 year olds.

What is it about?

This study looks at deliberate firesetting. Participants living in the UK and aged between18 to 23 years completed a questionnaire asking if they had set a fire on purpose. The study compares the personality traits and background information of those individuals who self-reported igniting a fire on purpose compared to people who did not report setting a fire. Information is also included about the motivations and types of fires ignited.
