What is it about?
Merger and acquisition (M&A) deals are financial transactions between two or more companies in which they are combined in one entity (PMI process). Both, evaluation of the independent companies, and their integration after the deal is concluded. are complicated processes which are subject to behavioural biases, which (as this paper argues) may be one of the reasons for the high rate of M&A failures, especially during the PMI process.
