What is it about?

Physicians have long held leadership roles, yet there is a lack of emphasis on physician leadership training and development, and it is not clear how physician leadership differs from traditional leadership. The direct and mediating effects of positive psychological climate and role endorsement on physician professional participation in leadership are explored. Findings show positive relationships support the individual in acceptance of a second identity as a leader.
