What is it about?

How does somebody who is visually impaired learn to use a new device such as a radio? Usually a sighted helper has to explain the function of each control or the participant has to use 'trial and error'. I added touch sensors to the controls of a radio and a cassette player so that when the participant lightly touches a button, an audio tag is triggered which states the function of the control.

Why is it important?
