What is it about?
We want to impact how we lead. One of the ways to do that is to examine the role of communities of practice and group coaching on fostering critical consciousness and organizational change. Through this exchange, one can break down barriers to inclusion and strengthen cultural competency.

Why is it important?
This work is important to an organization's relevancy in the 21st century. Knowing how to effectively embrace change, support intersectionality, and communicate with diverse populations is a must.
Perspectives
As researcher and author, I find the aspect of change management an important cause. Knowing how to manage change personally can assist you in managing changes within your organization. This leads to more open dialogue and room for individuals to learn about themselves and the role they play in shifting culture.
