What is it about?

Reconfigurability is all about structural flexibility, and supply chains catering unpredictable demands must have the flexibility of altering their network structures or entities. Enablers are identified to attain reconfigurability in a case supply chain. The enablers are ranked and managerial insights are presented.

Why is it important?

The paper identifies fifteen enablers for supply chain reconfigurability and ranks them with TISM. These enablers were also divided into clusters using MICMAC analysis.

Perspectives

This paper is one the basic paper after a long period of time on supply chain reconfigurability. The publication can help researchers to take up supply chain reconfigurability as their research area, can identify further sub criteria for each criteria to enable reconfigurability in supply chains.
