What is it about?
Smallholders farmers in developing economies are neither subsistence-oriented nor fully commercial. Rather, they commercialize at various intensities. We show that this intensity matters for different dimensions of food security: Specifically, intensity of commercialization has differential implications to food availability, access, utilization and stability.
