What is it about?
Three different algorithms are integrated, and mounted on-board a mobile ground robot. They can detect, track and follow any pedestrian while he or she moves in a real scenario.

Why is it important?
The system can be used in real scenarios, without any previous training or pre-configuration. The detection works under different light conditions, the tracking can handle any number of people and the following is capable of operate in unknown scenarios. It is intended to be used in autonomous surveillance.
