What is it about?
Islam encourages unconditional altruism which is helpful in developing Islamic venture capital. However, Islamic reciprocity, may equally prohibit financing the entrepreneurs based simply on trust because finances are uncertain ex-ante if the entrepreneurs would live up to the trust.
