Perspectives

As someone leading this element of the project it was both gratifying and enlightening to actively deal with one of the biggest issues faced by our students in recent years. The feedback received from our students and academic colleagues underpinned the work we undertook and also provide a pathway for the future, both for ourselves and other libraries who wish to look at a similar service. Our Books Right Here Right Now project at The University of Manchester will transition to a full service in September 2018 An OA version of the article is also available from here http://man.ac.uk/VEpn4p Connect with me @uomlib_dominic
