What is it about?

CMME owners dissuade the use of fast fashion, while promoting high quality garments through minimising the use of resources. By ensuring the long-term survival of their businesses, these owners increase their own and their community’s well-being by addressing several SDG within an emerging economies context. The paper highlights the valuable contribution CMME owners can make in addressing SDG 12 - Sustainable production and consumption, together with the role of HE institutions in providing pro-environmental learning content and support to CMMEs to improve their environmental approaches within their business operations.
