Understanding the environmental footprint of a Swiss university – mobility, energy and material consumption before and during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic

What is it about?

The highest environmental impact of the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons is caused by the car. Around half of the employees and a fifth of the students use their car to travel to and from the university. 60 percent of the UAS's total emissions are caused by mobility. Waste, IT, catering and electricity account for a surprisingly small proportion.
