What is it about?

Several colleges and universities have committed to divesting their endowments from investments in fossil fuel (coal, oil, and natural gas) companies. Why dis the first colleges do this? What is their explanation? Through interviews with the first dozen or so higher education institutions to divest, this article explores why they did it.
