What is it about?

This study investigates 706 students from five HEIs in China, revealing statistically significant differences in ESD awareness based on age, gender, institution, academic level, major, and GPA, while education level and residence show no significant differences. Using a convergent mixed-methods approach, it combines quantitative and qualitative analyses to provide actionable recommendations for integrating ESD into educational frameworks in developing countries.
