What is it about?
The study aimed to explore how Australian university students perceive and engage with sustainable food practices and how it relates to the quality of their diet. Our survey revealed that more than half considered it important to buy sustainable foods, and those who did were eight times more likely to actually purchase them, leading to a significantly higher diet quality. Despite a perceived lack of sustainable food choices on campus, most students supported the idea of promoting sustainable options for better dietary outcomes.
