What is it about?

TQM practices is one of an avoidable practices in business. It have been proven the role of these practices to enhance several aspects of organizational performance. However, some aspects still need to be investigated. innovation performance is one of these aspects, therefore, this study is conducting an empirical study to examine the effect of TQM practices on innovation performance. Furthermore, this paper is assuming that the relationship is coming through another processes which is knowledge management processes which been tested during this study.

Why is it important?

This study addresses one of the recent issues within the Malaysian context of becoming a developed nation, which is innovation performance, specifically for manufacturing companies. To do so, the overlapping relationships among TQM practices, knowledge management, and innovation performance have been tested.

Perspectives

This study provide an empirical study on dimensional level to determine which practice of TQM has more influence on knowledge management processes.
