Generalized new exponentially weighted moving average control charts (NEWMA) for monitoring process dispersion

What is it about?

Variability NEWMA charts are widely used for detecting small and moderate shifts in process dispersion. In this work, we improve the detection abilities of the previously proposed variability NEWMA control charts. This further enables quality practitioners to adequately monitor a quality process.
