What is it about?

Customer needs/Requirements are very potential to change. They indeed change frequently. Since the time that we receive the needs until the product is ready to use, these requirements differ. We use a Markov chain to find a pattern of these changes and improve the product based on the pattern instead of the instant customer needs. Such a pattern is independent of the initial customer needs/requirements.

Why is it important?

The ANP approach inherently follows the Markov chain principle. Hence it is a good match. The special benefit of applying a Markov chain is to be able to improve the product independent of instant customer needs/requirements.

Perspectives

This approach can be applied in various area of decision making to improve the robustness and stability of decisions.
