Why is it important?

The project of EU integration is at its crossroads. UK has its second thoughts. The Eurozone member states do not understand the consequences of their being members of a monetary union. Neoclassical and Neo-Keynesian economics is of no use here. Either EU will find further political means to stay a global player or alternatively it will disintegrate back into national states, insignificant on the global stage of the future.

Perspectives

Living through the second half of the 20th century in Europe in peace, the globalisation process that brought wealth to hundreds of millions of people around the world rightfully so, the breakup of Yugoslavia and now Brexit should not leave anybody indifferent to the underlying historical and philosophical roots of it.
