What is it about?

This multi-stage, mixed methods research illustrates the process and outcome of message development for a communication campaign to encourage healthy behaviors in food shopping selection, cooking, and meal planning at home. The context for investigation was farmworker communities; the target was Latino mothers with school-aged children. Message approaches were developed to help mothers model healthy eating to their children.
