What is it about?

This article sets a plan for future studies related to patient satisfaction and wellbeing within hospitals. It is highlighted that patient wellbeing is highly affected by the physical environment of a hospital. Accordingly, several propositions are made about changing aspects in the physical environment of hospitals. This article is done with reference to the research fields of Evidence-based Design and Transformative Service Research.
