What is it about?

As much as prisons are built to ensure conformity to laws, the state of such facilities in most developing countries, specifically sub-Saharan Africa is appalling. This paper therefore seeks to examine the state of prisons and make insightful recommendations for redress in light of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
