Prisoners’ experiences of prison drug treatment – what matters?

What is it about?

Prison-based drug treatment is an established part of Swedish prisons. This study of three prisons found that prisoners experience these programs and the life in the treatment wings in various ways. Organisation, gender, roles, relationships and rituals are factors argued to affect the experiences.
