What is it about?
The production and operations of the plastics industry can be reorganized in a way that it captures carbon from the atmosphere and returns it to the ground. This re-fossilization could over time reverse the effects of human carbon emissions on the climate. To enable such geo-operations policy action is needed to introduce taxation for fossil carbon inputs and for rewarding carbon capture and refossilization .
