What is it about?

The “Justice and leadership” study examines the relationship between perceived organisational justice and organisational citizenship behaviour; the sequential mediation of performance appraisal fairness and well-being; and the role of ethical leadership, in relation to procedural, distributive and interactional justice and performance appraisal fairness.

Why is it important?

The findings showed that perceived justice (procedural, distributive, and interactional) positively impacts organisational citizenship, performance appraisal fairness, and well-being; therefore, organisations should prioritise justice to build a healthy work environment that promotes employee well-being and encourages organisational citizenship.
