What is it about?

This paper highlights what is special about friendship-and-love. It explains why the good feeling associated with friendship-and-love differs from the good feeling associated with the consumption of food or warm clothing. The distinction between the two feelings has may implications. The most important is how we can distinguish between dishonesty and insincerity.
