What is it about?

The paper aims to examine the accomplishments and relevance of these organizations (CPOs) in protecting consumers and in the preparation of related public policies. It draws a picture of the work developed by CPOs and indicates a possible assessment of their relevance in a scenario of logics complexity, which can be useful for policy makers.

Perspectives

It is usual to use performance measurement techniques such as financial indices, accounting and other indicators as organizational accomplishment indicators. We strive to show that this does not work well with CPOs.
