This study identifies and ranks the importance of the enablers required for best practices in technology product development projects and determines the relationships between these enablers in terms of their relative impact on project success.

Why is it important?
The research contributes to the field of project management by identifying the relative importance (which has been rarely investigated) of the enablers that help to enhance the successful management of technology projects. Our findings give project managers and researchers’ insight into thedifferent degrees of importance of different enablers and their interdependencies, which can either drive, or undermine project success
Perspectives
Thailand as well as other ASEAN countries are currently anticipating market expansion which is enhanced by the ASEAN economic integration. There is high potential for technology product development which serves specific needs of the regional markets. Hence, the findings of this study can be very useful for firms' strategic planning and implementation.
