Why is it important?
In a time with an increased global migration, protective factors affecting academic resilience is an important research field related to integration. Education serves an important function regarding the development of a sence of mastery, knowledge and a sence of belonging to the surrounding society. Furthermore, education may counteract or equalise inequalities between minority and majority groups.
