Logistics platform and its potential
Some initial thoughts: a) logistics masters the following lessons: integrating logistics functions within the company and SC, focus on the customer, logistics as a mean to differentiate from competitors. b) the next big thing for logistics is the establishment of relations, connections and interdependence - search of specialization and synergies - in order to make the "local" economy more competitive. c) regional authorities have a big opportunity: to help logistics to faster achieve the above, to protect themselves from the stress caused by the aggressive efforts of logistics for the above. d) regions compete for settlement of companies with establishement of regional LPF (balanced characteristics of LPF's constituents).
