What is it about?

In the context of supply chain cooperation, implicit cognitive distance and social distance, as the key factors affecting supply chain capability of the core enterprise, have gained more and more attention by researchers. This paper proposes a theoretical framework involving cognitive distance, social distance, supply chain flexibility, and supply chain capability. Based on empirical study of 104 manufacturing enterprises in China, research results show that cognitive distance and social distance between supply chain enterprises have different effects on supply chain flexibility.
