What is it about?

Secondary science teachers in British Columbia used a new model of professional development to tackle challenges in teaching controversial socioscientific issues like climate change. We demonstrate how, over time, teachers adopted a critical lens and utilized a science literacy framework to design lessons that enhance students' ability to connect science with ethics and society.
